Science

In science Mrs. Wright taught a special investigation lesson with 1CD. The learning objective of the lesson was to make predictions and record the results. The children were put into groups and they predicted what materials would make a teddy bear move down a wooden slide the fastest. After making their predictions the class discussed what would make a fair test and what would not. The children realized that pushing the teddy bear down the slide would not be fair. The children worked in their group to experiment with the different materials and collect their data. After the groups were finished they discussed their findings with the rest of the class.

The Gruffalo Corner

The children worked really hard making a new book corner in the classroom. The children worked in partners to make the branches for the tree. They enjoyed the process of making the tree and are proud of the outcome.
